About Cutscene
Cutscene makes short launch videos for software, requested by the coding agent that already knows the software.
Launch videos usually come last and get skipped. The people who could make a good one are busy shipping, and the tools that generate video want a long prompt, a brand kit and an upload of your product. Meanwhile your coding agent already knows your colors, fonts, copy and screens — it has your repo open. Cutscene lets that agent be the one who briefs the studio.
How it's different
- Your code stays put. Your agent answers a fixed questionnaire from your code and sends only facts and the files you approve. Cutscene never receives source code.
- Videos are code. Each scene is a React component rendered with Remotion. Every word, color and timing is a typed property, so a video can be changed precisely instead of regenerated.
- Original score. The music is synthesized note by note for each video, timed to its cuts. No stock tracks.
- Built for agents. Cutscene is a remote MCP server with an agent skill. Every page here is also available as Markdown, and the discovery files agents look for are published.
Status
Cutscene is in private beta: invite-only, one render at a time, free for invited users. Expect rough edges and frequent changes. Pricing will be published at pricing.md before the beta ends.
